Elizabeth Tilley

Originally from Upstate New York, Beth Tilley grew up amidst the majestic landscape of the Catskill Mountains and the artistic legacy of the Hudson River School painters. As a practicing massage therapist for 17 years, Beth understood the power of art as a healing source. During that time she explored various mediums, including drawing, pastels, and acrylics. In 2015 Beth retired to Palm Harbor, Florida and discovered a community rich with artistic talent and inspiration. Currently Beth’s focus lies in colored pencil medium. Her involvement in the art community has been significant, including serving as past President of the Creative Arts Guild of Dunedin, and Secretary of Studio 1212 Art Gallery. Beth is currently a member of the Colored Pencil Society of American Miniature Art Society of Florida and Dunedin Fine Arts Center.

Having a very inquisitive mind, art provides a sanctuary for me to explore, engage, and find solace in the search for beauty and meaning. I am able to transcend the constraints of time and immerse myself in the creative process. There is always a sense of wonder and awe as I witness the moment of magic where the ordinary is transformed into the extraordinary. I hope my art resonates with viewers, evoking emotions and sparking their own inquiries, a bridge connecting hearts and minds, inviting others to experience and explore the vast landscape of human emotion and thought.
