Emily Weichbrod

Emily Weichbrod is currently based in Monroe, WI. She has been creating artwork professionally since 2006 however was raised in artwork with her mother being a professional artist. She has earned a Best in Show at the Tallman Arts Festival in Janesville WI and a Judges Choice at the Wildflower Festival in Brodhead, WI for her artwork. Emily predominately works in colored pencil, preferring Prismacolor and Faber Castell for most of her works as she enjoys the smooth texture. Her works have largely animal themes reflecting her work in Veterinary Medicine. While many of her pieces are realistic in style, she also enjoys drawing Celtic designs and knotwork reflecting her interest in Celtic and Irish mythology, music, and history. She will also draw from fantasy, nature and bad puns (since there aren’t any good ones).
