Gayle Uyehara

Gayle Uyehara has been creating art and working with animals for over 40 years.

Rescuing wildlife is one of her many passions, often using the patients she has worked with as her subjects.

This year’s Colored Pencil Society of America International Exhibition entry, “Jays Walking” captures the antics of the birds rescued during an oil spill response.
