Nina MacDonald

Nina MacDonald returned to her love of art after a career in the corporate world. She currently works in colored pencils and pastels utilizing a realistic style with a touch of whimsy.  

In “Beyond the Edge” she was inspired by how the image pulls the viewer into the painting and makes them wonder where they are going.  While the painting has many edges, it also has a sense of a fluidity.

Nina holds a B.A. degree in Studio Art and is a member of The Colored Pencil Society of America and The Pastel Society of North Carolina. Her work has been juried into exhibitions both internationally and across the county.  Nina currently lives in Raleigh, NC with her husband and several cats.
