Ria Axeli

My name is Ria Axeli , I am 58 years old, a mother, a wife, and I live in Athens, Greece. I am a self-taught painter. I have been involved in painting since childhood and have experimented with various types of painting. Since 2015, I have been captivated by a specific genre. Colored pencils and graphite become part of my daily life. Wanting to evolve my technique, I started taking lessons with a professional teacher. This way, I specialized in portraits. I am an award-winning colored pencil artist and a member of the associations CPSA, IGOR, and UKCPS. I participate annually in international painting exhibitions held in America and England. I have also taken part in group exhibitions in Greece. My work has been published in the world-renowned monthly magazine Colored Pencil Magazine by Ann Kullberg. Additionally, my works have been published for two consecutive years in the annual magazine CP Treasures by Ann Kullberg. It is my firm belief that one is never too old to learn. My great love is painting and I am determined not to give up trying until I achieve my aim.
