In my paintings, I strive to create a visual language that explores the complex relationships between color and materials. I am constantly intrigued by the interplay between these elements and how they can be used to evoke emotional responses from the viewer. My subjects are varied, ranging from people and objects to my own introspective explorations. I am drawn to the challenge of expressing my own sense of being lost within the world and the existential questions that arise as a result. Through my art, I seek to explore the nature of time, space, and relationships between the figures and material possessions. A strategy that I use in my work is combining observational techniques with gestural mark making. By creating a transitioning space, I invite the viewer to engage with the work on a deeper level, uncovering hidden meanings and exploring the interplay between different elements.
