Susan Donze

After flirting with colored pencils since High School in the 70’s, Susan began exploring them more seriously after attending her first Colored Pencil Society International Exhibition at Brea in 2007 and seeing the incredible possibilities.

She favors nature themes and portraits, especially those of her grandchildren.

“Morning Fog Los Angeles,” this year’s entry is an atmospheric depiction of a magical moment beside the freeway during rush hour traffic.
