49th Annual Watercolor West International Juried Exhibition

Masters of transparent watercolor, the Watercolor West organization once again brings a stunning collection of paintings to the Brea Art Gallery. This yearly juried exhibition features one hundred of the most captivating contemporary watercolor from across the globe. Ranging immensely in style and subject matter, these pieces represent the vast potential of this enchanting medium. Juror John Salminen has chosen a truly remarkable collection of paintings to feature in this year's exhibition, and we cannot wait for you to see it. As always, the exhibit will be accompanied by a renowned demonstration and lecture series, as well as an impressive line up of watercolor workshops.
Join us on opening night, Saturday, October 14th from 5pm to 7pm for live music by folk artists Lawrence and Clare, light refreshments, and an awards ceremony at 6pm.
