The Made in California exhibition will still take place this year. However, due to recent statewide orders involving the closure of all indoor museums (galleries), we are still unsure as to when the Gallery will be able to open to the public. As soon as the closure orders are lifted, the Gallery will open to the public with new safety measures including limited online ticket sales, mask and social distancing requirements, and extensive sanitation measures. Stay tuned here and on our social media (@breagallery) to see the show in a variety of virtual formats until the time comes when we can once again open our doors.

Both the Brea Gallery and the City of Brea are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation and are following all recommendations of the CDC and Orange County Public Health officials. Currently, the Gallery is continuing normal operations, public hours, and workshops. We have elevated our cleaning services, implementing additional daily disinfecting and sanitizing, and have hand sanitizer is available at the front desk for visitors. Anyone exhibiting symptoms of illness is politely asked to visit us some other time in the future.

The upcoming Made in California exhibit is still moving forward as planned. There may be a change with the MICA opening reception on April 25th (perhaps rescheduling to a closing reception in June), but we will be sure to keep everyone posted as we monitor the situation.
