"No Song Unsung" Opening Reception

The Brea Gallery is proud to present our new summer exhibition No Song Unsung in collaboration with Los Angeles based group SUPERCOLLIDER, that will run through July 22nd to September 15th, 2023. Our opening reception had a successful turnout! With over 150 visitors attending, many were excited to celebrate the artists and the premiere of the exhibit with light snacks and refreshments. In addition to the artists in attendance, we also had enjoybrea and ocartblog covering the event!

Welcome to our new exhibition! We are thrilled to present an immersive and interactive space that incorporates various forms of media, including video, audio, dream journaling and more! Through these mediums, we invite visitors to engage with the artwork on a deeper level, fostering personal connections and sparking conversations.

As you explore the exhibition, you will also encounter our mesmerizing kinetic sculptures, which allow you to sit and observe them from start to finish, experiencing the full cycle of their movement.

The conversations sparked by this exhibit serve as a powerful reminder of how the world is constantly evolving, changing, and developing. One of the questions explored in this exhibit is how these changes have impacted our world, encouraging our community to reflect on our impact on our environment. A visual and visceral reminder of our responsibility to protect the precious gift of Mother Earth. How can we responsibly harness and benefit from the advancements of technology, while also taking proactive steps towards a sustainable future?

Also a special thank you and congratulations to the artists in No Song Unsung! This exhibition required a lot of technical support, but our teams worked very hard together to get everything up and running by the opening. It was a pleasure to work with SUPERCOLLIDER, and hope to have more projects in the future to spotlight their working effort in persistent conversation about the future of our home planet.
