The “QuintEssential” begins their musical performance for Artful Sounds audience.

The Gallery, built over 40 years ago with little to no dampening, reverberated in each sweet chord. Guests and performers noted the amazing clarity of sound, with the acoustics favoring the lower registers uncommon in many performance spaces. Led without a conductor, the “QuintEssential” was intimate and felt spontaneous and fluid. Audience members shared their enthusiasm over the concert and evening, capping the night with a post-show mingle, an opportunity to chat with the musicians and Gallery gift shop sale.

The second installment of Artful Sounds is scheduled for Saturday, November 16 from 5-7 PM. The Brea Gallery will be hosting 99 Voices in Pastel, a collaboration exhibition with the Pastel Society of the West Coast, and Orchestra Collective of Orange County will be back to perform a cello quartet. Be sure to get your tickets through the Curtis Theatre Box Office!
